How Do We Charge?

Burlingame Interiors provides professional services to its clientele on an hourly fee basis. The hourly fee range depends on the complexity of the project and the designer or designers assigned.

Hourly fee charges include:

  • all consultation and meetings
  • design research
  • selection and coordination of materials, furnishings and shopping
  • preparation of plans, drawings, and specifications
  • cost estimates
  • presentations
  • supervision and coordination of installations

In addition to their professional design services, Burlingame Interiors offers its clientele the service of managing the purchase, delivery and installation of furniture and furnishings specified on any of our projects. We purchase merchandise directly from manufacturers and suppliers The client is billed at our wholesale cost as indicated on the manufacturers invoice. Additional actual costs billed to the client are for freight, local delivery, and necessary assembly and installation. We add a service charge to all these invoices to cover the costs of placing orders and coordinating the handling of the merchandise. The service charge can vary depending on the size of the order. Terms of payment for the client are those extended to us by the various manufacturers and suppliers.
